Why Care Ministry?

For God’s Glory!!

God’s people are called to serve Him and to love one another.  The Care Ministry’s goal is to learn and attend to the needs of others.  We do this so that others may see the light of God’s grace and be ministered to.

“As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.”  1 Peter 4:10

What can Care Ministry do for others?

Senior Care – We have a team of volunteers that can regularly visit shut-in people connected to the church.

Meals & Nutrition – We have a team of volunteers that can prepare and deliver meals to our church members who are experiencing a change of lifestyle, for example, grieving over the death of a loved one, new baby, illness, etc.

Hospital & Home Visitation – We have a team of volunteers that can attend hospitals or homes to provide prayers, comfort, and encouragements.

Housecleaning – We have a team of volunteers to provide basic housecleaning chores to those who are temporarily struggling to meet these needs themselves.

Transportation – There are opportunities to provide transportation for hospital visits, airport pickups, or temporary/long-term handicapped individuals.

Home Repair, Moving & Yard Work – We have a team of volunteers that can help with moving furniture and items from one place to another, as well as providing yard care.

Spiritual Care – There is a small team of volunteers that can attend homes and lead individual Bible devotions and prayers.
