Dr. Cole Sandlin joined the Lavon Drive Baptist Church staff in May 2020, where he operates in the role of directing our Community Groups and College Ministry as well as being the Assistant Administrator and Elementary Principal for Garland Christian Academy.

Cole is an educator with over ten years of experience and has held various teaching and administrative roles throughout his career. Cole holds a B.S. in Education from Liberty University, an M.Ed. in Principal Leadership, and an Ed.D. in Organizational Leadership both from Abilene Christian University. He is excited to love and serve the staff, students, and families of Lavon Drive and Garland Christian Academy.

Cole is a graduate of GCA where he met his wife Cayla. They have been married for ten years and have two sons, Graham and Logan. In his free time, Cole enjoys spending time with his family, reading, writing, and watching basketball.
